Compound fertiliser is a type of round, hard, colourful granulated fertiliser. It does not break into pieces easily or form lumps. Compound fertiliser contains an abundance of various trace elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and sodium. It dissolves at a moderate speed such that nutrition is not lost and is easily absorbed by crops.
Compound fertiliser has various distinctive characteristics such as high concentration, high absorption rate by crops, enhancement of resistance of crops to diseases, insects, droughts and lodges. The use of compound fertiliser generally improves the quality of crops and the productivity of the land. High concentration compound fertilisers constitute more than 90% of our Group’s aggregate compound fertiliser sales.
